Welcome to the Media Center!

The O'Dea Media Center offers a multitude of services for the students and staff of O'Dea Core Knowledge Elementary.  We house over 13,000 items in our collection with many new books coming all the time.  We also have eight Windows computers, printers and scanners for student and staff use.

 The Media Center also contains a full computer lab where we have 31 Windows computers. Students visit both the library and the computer lab on a weekly basis through scheduled instruction.  The library also has scheduled "Open" hours when students from any grade can visit.

 During scheduled instruction in the  library, students will learn about children's literature, and they will be able to checkout books.  Computer lab instruction will focus on basic computer skills for the younger grades.  Intermediate students will learn how to conduct research and how to use current technology to present their results.
